Stamps by Aurora Wings - Steampunk Dark Angel

After I had so much fun with the other steampunk image I had to have a go at the wing mechanisms on Dark Angel.  Such amazing detail.

I have coloured her in copics but I'm practising adding pencils (prismacolor) to deepen the effect.  I have added pencil to her face and to the blades and background.

I love all things magical and fae and fairies being the top of these, another love of mine is books so combine the two means I will love no matter what.  A friend at work asked me to make a card for her daughters 17th birthday, she is a lovely girl who always has her head in a book and this is what I came up with.  

She is coloured using copic markers, and wink of stella applied pretty much everywhere.  I have used some old kaiserkraft papers and stampin up plain card stock and ribbon.  Birthday stamp liliofthevalley and punches stampin up.  Emeblishments are eBay.  Hope you like her, thanks for stopping by xx

Lahla Three Little Birds - Faeryink

I love these images from faeryink, they are so magical and fun to colour.  I also find the generosity of site owners who give freebies to followers the ultimate best because like most of us in life I have a limited craft budget.  

Lahla has been coloured using copics, and matching up to the colours of the kaiserkraft and stampin up papers.  The back paper has a very light music sheet pattern which is very romantic.  I have used embellishments for eBay which mach up to the colours lovely,  and inked the edges of the image to match the clouds on the backing papers, hope you like her xx

Aurora Wings - Sprite Delight

This month on aurora wings challenge blog they are giving away this free digi, so I felt a very strong urge to colour her and submit her into the blog challenge :)

I have coloured using copics and wanted to use these papers so matched up the colours.  The papers are stampin up along with embellishments so everything is exactly the same colour.  I have used a white gel pen for some highlights and wink of stella for some shimmer.  xx

Aurora Wings - Gardenia

Hi there, as you can see from this card I have gone out of my safety zone by placing the image on a angle.  I have recently noticed that all my cards are very central or if to the side it is evenly done.

I have coloured her in using copics.  paper is kaiserkraft and stampin up card stock used and inks to edge the image.  Embellishments are a mix of stampin up and eBay.  I have used liquid pearls on the image and wink of stella for a few little sparkly highlights.

Aurora Wings - Mermaid

Who doesn't love mermaids, I know I do.  I have coloured this gorgeous lady using copics and highlighted in white gel pen.

Purple paper is from stampin up in perfect plum and the green is from a old stash.  The shells are form a local shop and the garden and the emblishements all from eBay.
