The Paper Shelter - Fun and Sun

Hi everyone, today I wanted to show you a finished project from the kit and clowder pencil class of March 2018.  So Im very behind in my pencil practice this is mainly due to the fact pencils take longer to colour than markers.  But well worth the persevering in my opinion.  This is coloured with prismacolor pencils.

Hope you like her its great fun to finish while were in our ozzie summer, and today is Australia Day so perfect for sharing xx

Sasayaki glitter - Karate shy Colour Crazy Craft Challenge Blog

Im a little late doing this blog being school holidays and I completely forgot.  This week we picked our own image for the  challenge blog, (to enter follow this link)  Week 2 - Anything Goes Colouring Challenge - Blog Candy Giveaway

the image I chose was from sasayaki glitter.  I was asked by a work friend to make a male card and using karate and 40.  I had great fun with this.  Coloured all in copics with kaiserkraft DSP and embellishments.  The paper is stampin up basic black and basic grey.

I dont often do male cards so was a nice change.  Have a fun day my crafty lovelies xxx

Sweet November - Peppy Penguin

Hi guys, today Im showing you a card I made with a free image from the sweet nevember range.  This is from 7 kids crafts from Facebook.

I am not experienced in creating my own backgrounds but have again been inspired by Amy from the above group to give it a go, I have cased one of her backgrounds as a bit of a guide.  The other backgrounds have been from colouring classes.

I have used all copics for this image and mounted on stampin up white and wisteria wonder (R) card. I have used a single stamp in the star of light set.  I got the quote off the internet and printed it out.

I also practices in prismacolor pencils but had quite a lot of black transfer so I probably won't make it into a card, but its all practice.

Have a lovely day my crafty friends xxx

Paper Nest Dolls - Ice Cream Cravings

Hi everyone, today I wanted to show you a card I made for a friend going on maternity leave.  I love the image and have coloured her in copics.  I have used stamping up retired DSP and the card is the new colours of granny green apple and highland heather.  I have used one of their retired stamps for the flowers and a liliofthevally sentiment.  I have just popped on some diamonties for a touch of sparkle.

If you want to purchase her pop on this link here...

The Paper Shelter - Vintage Seamstress

Hi everyone, I originally coloured this card when I first got my colic pencils, it was designed for a friends 40th birthday, I then lost the folder for a few months so here is the finally finished card.  I love the image and it was coloured to match my friend.  The paper is stampin up card stock in wisper white and baja breeze (R).  The dsp and the sentiment are kaiserkraft.

Thanks for saying hi have a great week, Lynsey xxx

Paper Nest Dolls - Nurse Emma

As a nurse this is probably the most produced of all my paper nest dolls images.  Created for a friends birthday using the boldest and prettiest colours I could find I really enjoyed making this card.

I have coloured her with my pastel copic markers and mounted on stampin up melon mambo and coastal cabana card.  The doily is stampin up as well.  The DSP is a kmart pad and the eblishments and die were eBay.  I have used wink of stella on her hat and the bears heart, and liquid glue on her eyes and the bears and nose.   Hope you like her.

Click on this link to get her from the shop, happy colouring Lynsey xx

Emmanuelle Colin

This is a image I started colouring a while ago on craft paper which there are a couple of challenges here for me.  One, contouring faces, two, prismacolor pencils, three, craft paper however a little bit of perseverance and I was happy with the finished result.  The images are so gorgeous to practice, there are a few things in learnt along the way and her nose was by far the trickiest for me, meaning I need the most practice in this area.

I was stuck on the flowers but actually used the colours from the kit and Clowder December 2018 class of the crystals and was happy with them.

Oh, nearly forgot, happy new year my crafty friends, heres to a arty, crafty, growing in our skills 2019

Kit and Clowder - December Pencil Class

Hi everyone, so last year I joined the online colouring classes over at kit and clowder.  During the year I have not completed many of them lol, they are time consuming and I'm always rushing from here to there, however, they are so so good for learning new skills and actually taking time out.  So I have finished this class (over about 6 hours) and plan on doing so every month and during my holidays I will be catching up on previous months as well.

This has been completed in prismacolor pencils on Canson paper, the image is from Connie Fong xx
