Aurora wings - La Mer

This weekend I have taken the time to finish off some projects hence todays massive overload lol.  This amazing mermaid was coloured using copics and prismacolor pencils.  it was so intrastate took me about 6 hours over a few different settings.  I have only used liquid pearls as a accent and mounted on stampin up wisteria wonder as I didn't want to cover any of the image.  Its the last post today i promise lol xx

Cute as a Button - Little aviator

Isn't this guy cute.  I have just finished this project for the first time entering cute as a button Facebook challenge group.  He is coloured using copic markers, i have used some old stampin up dsp, and the yellow card is so saffron.  I have sponged using soft sky and the scallop punch to create clouds and mounted on soft sky card.

The tag was from kmart along with the inside post card.  Happy weekend my lovely crafters xx

Ching-Chou Kuik - Sinking Moon

Good morning my crafty friends.  I decided to have a play with the gorgeous mermaid after watching one of our awesome WA sunsets over the indian ocean.  I certainly did not do the real thing any justice in my colouring but as a first attempt didn't think i managed too bad :) but have since watched a gazillion tutorial and know next time will be so much better.  sorry for the overexposure of the picture was taken pretty early in the morning and sun was glaring.  I have coloured her using copic makers and decorated in liquid pearl with a wink of stella in clear, and liquid pearls.  The embellishments are all eBay and the papers are all stampin up in Denim Dapper and calypso coral.  It was fun to try something new.

Ching-Chou Kuik - Golden Promises

So I love my matching papers, ribbons and patterns and stampin up has released this new set of wonderful colours, matching ribbons, designer papers and embellishments and as soon as i saw them this gorgeous elf jumped straight into my head.  I had a vision that i wanted to achieve, I love the colours in this and amazingly nearly had the exact match in copics.  It doesn't show up very well but I dabbed a little bit of gold ink around the background and across the flowers using a sponge.

Scrappers Delights - Telsa Steampunk

Hi guys, well its Saturday again and time of my DT inspiration post.  This week I'm using the awesome Telsa Steampunk.  We know I have a soft spot for all steampunk so this was great fun to get going with some really deep colours.

She has been coloured in using copic and prismacolor pencils, I have gone over her wings and clocks with glossy accents.  The dies are kaiserkraft for the ovals and the clocks, the backing paper is also kaiserkraft, the coloured cardstock is stampin up Cherry cobbler with matching ribbon.  I have edged the oval with sahara sand and crumb cake in from stampin up and the lace and cameo is from somewhere from the craft room.

The perfectly vintage is from lili of the valley.  Hope you have a great weekend. xx

Lilyofthevalley - Happy birthday James

Its LOTV's birthday so for their Facebook challenge the theme was birthday cards and what better to enter than a picture of James the bear.

He has been coloured using copics and prismacolor pencils, stampin up real red and crumb cake card stock and some of their old DSP papers in the brights range.  The sentiment is LOTV and stampin up punches used.

Glossy accents used on his nose and eyes.

Mothers day class

Last weekend I held a few classes for mothers day, one for adults 2 for children.  The kids were all girls and were aged between 10 and 14, what a laugh they had and they all went home with a card and a little note book covered for their mums.  I snuck in a happy birthday shaker card as well to show the girls how versatile the paper is.

Here are some of my pics from the weekend.  We used Stampin up Falling in love designer papers with the love heart embossing folder.

The card colours are: very vanilla, soft sky, blushing bride and sahara sand which match the patterns, varies embellishments and ribbons all from stampin up.  And the final picture was the end one of the kids sessions, took me a while to clean up :)

Aurora Wings - Petals in the Wind

For this image I decided to go monochrome, I used 3 copics in the same colour family and 4 prismacolor pencils again in the same family.  The image is so detailed that I thought the simpler the better.  Was a challenge but Im happy with how it came out.  I haven't used any embellishments at all as wanted the focus purly on the image.  Thanks for stopping by, Lynsey xx

Scrappers Delights - Genie

For my monthly inspiration card I picked a pretty little genie, and it happened to co inside with the promotion so have a look at the side bar for the link to the shop.  I have coloured her with copics and prismacolors and used my favourite papers at the moment of stampin up falling in love.  The sentiment is liliofthevalley and punched out with stampin up punch.

Im loving the way to do this background, i coloured using copics in the same colours as the papers and then dropped alcohol over with a eye dropper, matches the bokeh.  Have a great day my crafty friends xx
