Paper Nest Dolls - Captain Owen

Happy Sunday everyone, today I wanted to show you a card I have made using the paper nest dolls, captain Owen.  I have used copics to colour him, and stampin up papers and ink to ink the sky.  I have used a die cut for the anchor and a stampin up retired embellishments.  The burlap is from a local shop.  I have used liquid glue as water splashes.

Hope you have a lovely rest of the weekend, Lynsey xx

Stampin up - No bones about it

I love this set, its one that I skipped past in the book until I got a request for some more boy cards.  What great fun stampin on accertate, stayzon used.  All card stock stampin up, with matching inks.  I did this for the kids class and they loved it.

For the circle cut card we used vellum which took a while to dry but I still liked the effect

Stampin up - Foxy Friends

I had lots of packs left over from the last few classes so have made them all up using all stampin up products, after a few foxes and wanted a change and used a few of the retired stamp sets in cup cake and by the seashore.

I stuck to the same colours of Calypso coral, pool party, island indigo and silver slate xx

Connie Fong - Leilani

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping to have a look at this gorgeous little lady.  She is so good to practice those hair strokes on.  I have coloured her using copic markers with a hint of black pencil (lesson learnt from Alyce kit and Clowder, to add a touch more shading).  I have used some old dsp from stampin up along with there card stock, punch and sentiment.

The flowers are from I am Roses and the ribbon and dies from craft online.

Have a fabulous week my crafty friends xxx

Aurora Wings - dandelion sprite

Its been a while since I have coloured up one of these gorgeous little things, and I wanted to do something a little more darker with out going really gothy lol, I have used copic markers and a very natural colour tone, I coloured before I picked the backing papers which I dont usually do, so next time I would go a lot darker on the sprite if using this dark background.

I have used stampin up card stock and kaiskerfraft dsp.  The stamp believe, is lavinia stamps.  Liquid pearls and skeleton leaves to add a bit of texture.

Happy weekend my lovely crafters.

The Paper Shelter - Hammock Days

Hi everyone, I hope your all enjoying a relaxing sunday involving crafting ;) today I would like to share this project I made, from the paper shelter.  The image is adorable and I was asked to make a 60th card that they were going on a holiday for, I got a bit carried away with the grass before I remembered the beach theme so added the sand, sea and sky in at the very end. You can't see but I also used glossy accents for water condensation on the drink and a little on her glasses.

All coloured with copics and flowers added to the grass with gel pen.  Stampin up card used and punches and numbers.

Frangipanis from my tree in the garden :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend my crafty friends, Lynsey xx

Sasayaki Glitter - Goodnight Dino

Happy Easter my crafty friends.

Last month I was a bit quite so this month prepare to have a few posts, starting with this adorable little dinosaur from sasayaki glitter.  I am honoured to be guest designer this month and this was the image I chose.

I have coloured the cutie in copics with black and white prismacolor pencils to add highlights and shade.  I have used white gel pen and white prismacolor to add the stars.

The paper is stampin up not quite navy and lemon and lime twist.  The stamp is from the stampin up no bones about it set and used the square dies to cut and frame.

Find the image here:

Hope you all enjoyed your Easter, hugs Lynsey xx
