Squirrel and Toadstool stamp by Ching-Chou Kuik
Today was a public holiday and what better way to spend a bit of time other than playing in the craft room. I was wanting to use up some papers and as I have a limited supply of copic markers its back to the good old green and pink combo. Sentiment by Lilyofthevalley, glitter glue used to add a touch of sparkle and glossy accents. Hope you like her x
Entered into the following challenges:
Ching-Chou Kuik - Halloween/something spooky
SOSS #69 - P is for Pink Halloween
Week 385 - Pink October

DeleteBeautiful card, that image is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love the wee mushrooms and squirrel on either side of the pretty witch.
Thanks for getting your Pink Halloween on with the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!!
This is such a gorgeous card Lynsey! Love the way you colored her, and your card design. We would have loved to consider you for Queen of Snark or Princess, but unfortunately, your post is a back linked post. It wouldn't be fair to those entries who followed our directions. Perhaps this was just an 'oops' on your part, and you meant to post one of your pretty creations that posted on October 1st or later?? We certainly hope so, because your coloring skills are amazing! We hope to see more of your works of art, and thank you for joining us at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris, as u. And see I'm new to blogging and now realise what that means lol, so backlinking means from the previous month? Just to clarify I should have asked at first :) thanks for your lovely response
DeleteJust so you know, back linking means linking up one of your posted cards that was dated before the challenge went live. So, in this case, you posted this gorgeous card on September 26th, but our challenge didn't start until October 1st. I do really hope that you will not be discouraged, and still play along with us!! I did notice you are REALLY new to blogging, so please ask lots of questions if you have them! We as a crafting community are always happy to answer any questions you may have!! ((HUGS!))
DeleteThanks Chris, that is a brilliant explanation and clears things up, I was on the wrong tracks thinking that meant not used for old challenges. I will still come and play, your blog is unique and really eye catching, I have made some lovely online friends on this journey and have had lots of encouragement. thanks again xx
DeleteHope we'll see your lovely work in the Sisterhood again soon - there's a lot to learn when you are new to blogging. In fact there's STILL a lot to learn even when you're an "old hand", and we all learn from each other
DeleteJane
