Ching-Chou Kuik - Orchid in Spring

Today I have been doing more practice on my prismacolor pencils.  They are so different from markers and i find take twice as long but I'm loving the journey of learning.  This gorgeous lady is representing spring, which is new beginnings, new growth and for us in Australia usually getting out of the rain and starting down the beach again.  Although were still in the heat of summer we had a few wet days which did remind me just of spring as all the grasses started turning green again.

I have kept this image simple (very unusual for me ;)) with just some liquid pearls.  The pattern paper is kaiserkraft and card stock stampin up in Pink Pirouette and bashful blue.  Happy weekend xxx

Paper Nest Dolls - Wedding Couple.

This is the second custom wedding card I have made with this image and love love love it.  The colours were picked especially to match up with the wedding party colour scheme, and luckily stampin up does matching papers, inks, ribbons, embellishments etc.

I have colour matched my copics, to match in with the colour scheme.  The hair is matching to the couple and was my first attempt at ombre.  The flowers are from eBay and the letters are again stampin up.

Thanks for stopping by and happy weekend my lovelies xx

The East Wind

I adore this artist, I do spend some time looking at them going how am I going to do this lol.  This card was specifically designed for my nieces 21st birthday and I wanted to incorporate the charms so was easier to post than a parcel.

I have coloured with copics in a very different style to my normal and really tried to stay to light colours.  I see so many people doing "dainty" colouring and really wanted to give it a go, Im happy with the results.  I have used stampin up card in chocolate chip and pretty in pink.  The backing paper is from kmart and was floating around the craft room, the embellishments are all eBay and the ribbon stampin up as well.

You can't see but the glasses, watch and top of the flask have glossy accents to give a glass and shiny look.

Well, thanks for stopping by lovely crafters xxx

Fairy Ink - Fable Wintercap Kitty

Isn't she gorgous? I have loved this image for so long, and have coloured on quite a few occasions.  She is coloured with copics and some old kaiserkraft paper used to match the colour scheme.  Brads, pearls, papers and ribbon are stampin up and corner embellishments and flowers eBay.

So now this year I'm trying to keep up with blog posts etc and want to learn how to make them all fancy so I appreciate you stopping by.  xxx

Happy New Year to all my lovely crafting friends, its been a while since I posted, working mum school hols and all that lol so here is a gorgeous little pic I managed to colour for my parents.

Copics used for all colouring apart from the sky which is inked with stampin up soft sky and the scallop punch.  Embellishments are new for xmas prezzies so no idea where they are from but the wording is liliofthevalley as well and the numbers are stampin up.
